Is Sharing Office Space a Trend?

Mar 21, 2023 13:43:11 PM by

When you reach a certain age, you stop worrying about keeping up with “hot trends.” They’ll just come back around, anyway. Pokémon first rose to fame decades ago, and yet here they are again, making young folks lose their minds. Pikachu has become an enduring cultural icon!

Well, here’s a trend you should definitely be aware of: shared office space. It’s a cost-effective and convenient way to get work done, without needing a second mortgage to pay the bill.

Curious to learn more? Let’s discuss why this trend is one that’s here to stay:

  • Rent isn’t getting cheaper

These skyrocketing rent costs will slow down, but they’ll probably never go down. That’s the price we pay for living in such an incredibly diverse and successful region: people like it here!

So if you’ve been looking at permanent office space and experiencing sticker shock, don’t expect it to get much better. Therefore, people will be left searching for an alternative. Shared office space is that alternative.

  • How does it work?

Just think of it like a coffee shop or library that’s full of other business professionals, all there for the same reason as you: work. So no one is going to be making a bunch of ruckus or distracting you; people are getting things done.

It’s a very large room at our 580 Executive Center (check out some photos here), and it has desks with internet connections for you to use. Come and go as you please – as long as the building is open, then you’re open for business.

  • What if I need some privacy?

If you need to make important calls, we have phone booths available. These aren’t the old, boxy type, either – these booths are cushioned and spacious, with doors that close for ultimate discretion. And if you ever need to meet with a client, we have meeting rooms available as needed.

  • Sounds pretty good. How do I learn more?
