What is the Difference Between Coworking Space and Shared Office Space?

Mar 21, 2023 13:43:14 PM by

Being able to work from home is a great luxury, that’s no doubt. But just because you have this awesome opportunity doesn’t mean you can take full advantage of it. For instance, what if there’s nowhere in the house for you to work? It’s imperative that you carve out a little designated workspace for yourself, but what if you’re in a studio apartment? Or the other rooms are already occupied by your family members or roommates?

That’s why we’re here: to provide valuable, productive workspace to those who don’t work in a traditional office. It’s coworking space, and it’s a new trend that you’re going to see all over the Bay Area – and soon after, the whole country.

But why is this new alternative better than shared office space? Allow me to explain:

  • Significant savings

Let’s pretend you wanted to share some office space in San Francisco. How much do you think that would cost you? It will easily run you hundreds of dollars, and probably more than $1,000 if you want an office that’s easily accessible. The cheapest offices will be deep within the city, probably in a massively tall building. And you’ve just added a commute to your day.

Instead, why not consider coworking space? It might not be as private, but it will be just as productive – this is definitely an office setting. And it will save you a ton of money in the long run. Plus, there’s coworking space available right here in Dublin; no need to pay a toll or deal with traffic.

  • So what’s the primary difference?

People. There will be extra people in this coworking space, because it’s a pretty big room. In a shared office, you might have 1-3 additional people in the room. Here, you could easily have a dozen.

However, that doesn’t mean you’ll be scrambling for a table like at the local Peet’s. When you sign up for our service, you will be guaranteed dedicated desk space. You’ll have high-speed internet access, private meeting rooms available, and even an espresso bar. This is the kind of work space you’ve been waiting for.
