Why Not Try Coworking and Shared Office Space?

Mar 21, 2023 13:43:14 PM by

Here in the Bay Area, start-ups are as plentiful as fast food joints. And one of the defining characteristics of a start-up is that they’re unpredictable workplaces. Some start-ups allow their workers to nap in their offices. Others promote drinking during the day. It’s certainly thinking outside the box!

And with most of these start-ups, it’s common to work remotely on a regular basis. If you’re one of those remote workers, it can be difficult to find a productive workspace – especially for free. You can go to Starbucks, but do you want to sit in coffee shops for hours each day?

We’ve got two alternatives you should consider: coworking and shared office space.

  • Coworking space: For the remote worker who needs productive space

A coworking space is like a coffee shop, but it’s full of professionals who are all there to work. In our coworking space, we have multiple desks as well as a large conference table. And because folks like coffee so much, we even have a full espresso bar; it should come in handy when that 2 p.m. drowsiness sets in.

Should you need some privacy, we can definitely provide it, as well. We have phone booths available, which have shutters that close and cushioned seats. And if you need to meet with someone one-on-one, we can make office space available as needed.

  • Shared office space: For the worker who needs privacy, on a semi-regular basis

If working around others isn’t your thing, or you need some privacy for business matters, we can help there, too. We have shared office space available, and you can think of it as “part-time” office space. Essentially, you’ll have a certain number of days or hours of office space available, which corresponds with the rate you pay. We have offices of various sizes and dimensions, which you can take a look at during business hours. And those under shared office plans can also rent out conference room space as needed.
